Lately, I’ve been reflecting on how often we trade peace for productivity.
In the rush to meet deadlines, attend appointments, and stay ‘on top’ of everything, stillness can feel like a luxury. But I’d argue it’s more of a necessity, especially for our mental and emotional wellbeing.
Stillness isn’t passive — it’s deeply active.
It takes intention to pause. It takes courage to step outside the noise and simply be. But it’s often in those moments of stillness that we begin to hear ourselves again , our real selves, not the version shaped by pressure, expectation, or comparison.
